Finally! Choir practice after 3 weeks!
Went through Natten in the first part of the practice, still sounds as weird as ever... but my first page more or less steady liao... thanks to Kevin's sample on Amazon.com (which is only 1 min of Natten just nice covers the entire first page)... subsequently the second page all the sops gone. For myself is because it is beyond the 1 min that I have heard and practice with... LOL... the rest of the sops I dunno why lah... the thing is... you can catch it by yourself and as a section... but when other sections combined... you're gone! That's Natten for you =)
Had to move on to Magnificat right after that. Finally we're learning from letter K - M! Really love the climax of this song... with all the orchestra coming in... can make you sing until you feel very high! Actually ya... it is high... Anyway this song like got a lot of climax liddat... 3 times I think... it's like when you expect the song to end already it continues on then climax again... Amy and Jac had to leave earlier so left me, Shanyu, Minghui to whack the letter O and M... then 1 point of time shanyu and minghui went to the washroom together and Ms Ong wants to go through letter M?!?! Throughout the entire letter M, my heart is like beating like crazy and I can feel my voice trembling... fake vibrato... *sweats*
Anyway I want to master vibrato!!! Real one of course. Listening to Opera Babes these days gimme this urge to pick this up... I love mature voice + vibrato, very emotive!
So happy too see ZhongJuinn, Darryl and Jaren today! Whee! They're back! Somehow couldn't help but expressed my excitement on the spot lah... Anyway wonder how's Joshua also, heard that these few guys are either in the same camp, or their camps are so near that they can see each other. Was having a hilarious chat with Darryl about Outfield camp experience, I suppose Kevin must have enlightened him so much about the shit-hole and the pee-spot during Alex's birthday celebration that time... both guys just didn't feel any urge to go and shit for the entire duration of 7 days! I think the best joke from other guys is still the usage of the rifle to support 1 side of the butt cheek! Apparently they would rather risk accidentally firing up their ass than falling into the shit-hole and getting cursed by the fellow recruit who willing be spending the night together with him in the same tent! WHAHAHA... XD...
Practice ended a little later... but somehow I dun feel like ending it... when Ms Ong say "ok we can go"... somehow all of us just stun down there... don't know is it we have the same exact sentiments or not... >_< we're crazy!
Looking forward to retail therapy with Zally! I still remember that time me, grace, faisal, ek ngee, zhi yong went to shop for my gown... Zally was like daringly walking into boutiques and choosing them for me... LOL...
Another weekend's gone... Mon is here... back to work/school/army for us. We'll be looking forward to the next practice bah! Very important! Voice Training + Blending... and perhaps some reshuffling? We need more S2 and As.
